I think Izverg has PIAA 520's for his roof lights, might want to send him a PM. Also make sure you have good ground connections. I was having trouble with my lights and it was because the grounds were not good enough.

Turn on or start your vehicle. Take a voltmeter, (or even one of the simple light-up testers will work for this).

Start at the light, probe for power. If there is power at the light, but no light, its the bulb or a bad connection in the terminal.

Next go to the switch. If there is power on the battery side, but not the light side, its a bad switch. Make sure to toggle it back and forth a few times while testing to se if its bad, or just hooked up backwards (easy to do)

If there is no power on the battery side of the switch, check the connection to the battery.

Make sure your ground is good. If you made a new ground contact, make sure the paint is filed away first, you need metal-to-metal, and that its nice and tight.

I'm betting bad ground or switch.

Good Luck! Electric gremlins are always the most fun to work out!

You have to find a site like photobucket or flickr and post them there. Then they'll give you a IMG link you can post here that'll have the pics show in the post.

Glad you found the problem. Anytime you are dealing with electrical, make sure you have a meter or even a test light as mentioned above. There is no way to know were the problem is without a way to track the power. Enjoy your new lights.
