I’m selling my Phoenix Pop-Up Flatbed camper, purchased directly from Phoenix/Coyote Campers in Commerce City, Colorado in April of 2022. It’s got a hot indoor/outdoor shower, cassette toilet, propane heater and 2-burner stove, large fridge and lots of storage. Original MSRP was a hair under $60K, I paid $55K (plus tax).

Phoenix Campers has been in biz since 1988, after the owner’s family started and sold both Four Wheel Campers and Tiger Adventure Vehicles, so these folks know what they’re doing. They make some off-the-shelf slide-in units, but most of their work is custom, and the quality and attention to detail is evident throughout. Everything just works like it should. About 1800lbs dry, you can even haul this on a half ton truck (with a bit of suspension mod). I’ve had it on a Ram 2500 Cummins with Sumo Springs and it’s been great. Gets 13-15mpg in the mtns, 15-18mpg everywhere else.

Large living area, easily enough for two people and a dog full-time, and with the curtained bathroom area, you can even enjoy a bit of privacy. Dining area easily fits 4 adults, and converts quickly to an extra sleeping area for pups, kids or naps. Shower can be used inside or out, and the hot water heater is a dream. 20 gal freshwater tank, ~15 gal gray and 5 gal black, which is disposed of through an exterior-accessible cassette (so no stink!). Heats up quickly thanks to the 20K BTU propane furnace and stays warm despite being a pop-up. Insulated walls, floor, roof and pop-up material, and interior storage for an additional 20lb propane tank, this unit easily handles temps below freezing.

Sink/stove work great, and any spills go right down the sink to the grey tank. Fridge is an upgraded 3.8L fridge/freezer combo from Dometic. Buyer’s choice on table…originally came with dual pedestal support for larger single leaf setup, but I’ve converted to a more nimble/lighter Lagun (see pics). Let me know which you prefer.

Tons of storage; under bed, under seating area footwell, under step up to bed, under kitchen counter, double exterior/interior rear hatches large enough to fit the steps and supplemental propane tank, and some. I added a rear molle rack for the Maxtrax, as well as two 2G Rotopax mounts for fuel and water (all unused). Added a 5-step TorkLift Glow step system and adjustable feet, stowed right inside the pass side rear hatch. Lithionics lithium battery, can be monitored from mobile app, powered by 175 W solar panel on roof, shore-power input, or vehicle alternator. 1000W Renogy inverter added to power stuff like laptops and cameras.

Truck's in great shape, no issues whatsoever (details below). Had it since about 50K miles and made the modifications at purchase (flatbed, bumper, wheels/tires, lights, bed support). It's got the mid-size entertainment system, running boards and cloth seats. At just about 75K miles, I've done all the rec'd services and it's ready for many mores. Will not entertain selling the truck by itself though, sorry.

Price is $90K, located in Golden, Colorado. See below for details and reach out with any questions. Happy to provide more pics or a video walk thru.

That is a great looking rig!
Unfortunately I am not a diesel guy or I would be out there to see this in person. Really nice combo for someone looking to fly there and camp all the way home.
