This is a rare opportunity to get a heavily modified truck for an extremely competitive price. I'm listing it because I want to move into a Tundra to fit my needs a bit better. The Tacoma is amazing for everything but towing. A couple of cool things about this truck that are rarer than you might think:
·Manual transmission. Fewer than 6% of Tacomas are optioned with the M/T. To get into this color is even more rare.
·Sport swapped hood. Only the trd sport and pro trims come with a scooped hood. Some time on the forums will show that swapping hoods is both very desirable and very rare because everyone wants one.
·Running 35" tires requires heavy modification to the frame and body mounts, new control arms, high-quality lift, gusseting for strength, fender modification, etc.. Tones of work to get to the point it's at right now.
Ok, let's get into it!
Truck is has a rebuilt/reconstructed title. The accident that wrote it off happened at about 20K miles. The damage was to the bumper, bumper mounts, and grille. If you know anything about collision repair, it's surprising that they would total it when the impact didn't even get to the radiator and there was no damage to the fenders or hood. Very minimal damage. The dealership I bought it from disclosed to me that they had to spend less than $2000 to get it fixed and ready for sale because there was so little broken. I've attached some photos I have of the initial collision. Full disclosure - There was some very minimal misalignment with the bumper left over after the repair. The aftermarket bumper that will be installed fixes this issue entirely.
If you are not a car person and/or aren't ok with the idea of owning something with a rebuilt title, this may not be for you.
Now that we're past the elephant in the room, let's talk about the truck. It is not uncommon right now to see clean-titled stock Tacomas of this year and mileage selling for 40k+. My local Toyota dealership even offered me 34k for the truck valuing the modifications at $0. Obviously, modifications are not worth $0, which is why I'm trying to sell privately if at all possible.
As it sits, the truck has roughly $21,000 in add-ons, modifications, lighting, etc... Everything currently on the truck will be included for a final sale price of $52,000 (valuing the base at $36K and the $21K of modifications at $16k) If your plan was to rig your vehicle out similarly, you would expect to pay between $60-$70k depending on whether you're starting with a new or used truck. Significantly more if you wanted a shop to install everything for you. I hope you see this as a good deal and not as me being greedy. I'm just trying to lose as little money as possible.
If you can't get to $52k, I've got some wiggle room. In the list of add ons, you will see some of the items highlighted in blue. All of those I am willing to remove from the vehicle for a sale price of $43k. If you want to pick and choose what to leave and what to keep, we can find something that works for you in the middle. If you want to put down a non-refundable deposit of the same value to something not highlighted, I could sell other parts privately, but I need to have the stock version to swap out/fill the holes left by certain things not being installed and we can drop that much lower than 43k. You can view it here on google sheets: GOOGLE DRIVE SHEET
There are two things in the list not yet installed but will be. If you want to purchase the truck before they arrive, I will install them for you for free once they do. Firstly the front hybrid bumper made by C4 fabrication. It is supposed to arrive on October 4th. The second should be here in late September and is a snorkel made by Airaid - this will be among the very first and very few Tacomas rocking this snorkel. (This is more for clean air intake from dust than it is for being able to cross rivers. The fender wells are open to the elements to clear the larger tires.)
Known issues: Some minor damage to the driver-side battery support area. The genesis dual battery kit is heavy and has caused some crinkling of the sheet metal. There are a couple of places that fix this issue - pretty much just welding in some sheet metal and should be a sub $200 repair. Sub $10 if you know how to weld. This is on my short list of things to do to the truck, so I may even have it fixed before the sale.
I have attached one photo of a similar truck that has the C4 bumper on it so you can get an idea.

Trades will not be considered (unless it's a TRD Pro Tundra).
