Lockhart Basin South to North in stock Tacoma?

What say ye? Stock SR5 2nd gen Taco, would not be traveling alone, just curious about feasibility.

I say no unless you really push it, and aren't scared to hit your frame or of body damage. I did Lockhart last year in a TJ unlimited on 35's with dual lockers, and although not super challenging there were parts that got my attention. I also have a Tacoma on 265's with dual ARB's and I don't think I'd take that through. It is narrow and the ledges have got worse since I did it a few years earlier. However, my comments are only for the first few miles of Lockhart coming out of the valley after Hurrah Pass. After climbing out it gets significantly easier. My advice, go in from the south end until the top of the pass, and turn around.

Any pictures of last time you went through? It is an ever-degrading trail. Have not done it in years but would like to take a southbound run with a couple mildly lifted LCs. ? Thinking we may navigate further East ?
