This time I'm gonna wait before ordering the DVD series, to see if they offer a longer version.

I ordered the DVD of the Long Way Round from Amazon and loved it. Then Chuck let me borrow his DVD he ordered off Amazon in Canada. Two more episodes, lots of additional footage and the DVD liner included a map and mileage totals per day. Even better.

So I'm hoping the will do something similar this time. Ewan and Charley have great chemistry and make for good viewing.

I do get HNIC on my DTV with the NHL package, so I get Don once a week.

First episode was great. That is all......:shakin:

Actually this time there looks like there is going to be more personal drama between the team and Ewan. We'll see how that played out. The first show was very much like the first LWR show, it's all about planning, training, and getting underway.

Episode two was OK, but the trip is very rushed thus far and not yet as fun as LWR was. More of a production really and less of a trip. It's early though, and they just got to Africa so hopefully it gets better. The Americans ran into problems getting Libyan visas, no real surprise though. Unfortunate for them as there were a ton of Gaddafi photographs and signs they missed out on .....the 2000+ year old ruins were nice as well.
