Longer Sway Bar Links with Lift?

Installed the OME springs and cranked the torsion bars up on my Sport awhile back. Supposedly it nets 1.5" of lift, but looks like a little more to me. It's pretty stiff, glad I went with the medium and not heavy duty springs! Wondering if I should install an inch or two longer sway bar links in the back to soften the suspension a little and maybe facilitate a tad bit more suspension travel? How would this impact body roll?

The links need to be the correct length for the leverage, fulcrum to work correctly and control sway. The sway bars have zero to do with spring rate or ride.
Most lifts include sway bar links to keep everything in balance.

So... what would be the effect of links that are too short? OME lift kits do not include longer links for some reason. Maybe they expect you to remove them altogether?

Your sway bar is likely fine with 1.5in lift, Its designed to work in the travel range and 1.5 inches is within that, as long as it doesn't hit anything your good.

Keep your sway bar, its their for a reason, if its too stiff back off the torsion bars a little (soften the ride)

Good to know, thanks. The link bushings on one side are kind of mushed, are those worth replacing? I had the front lower for awhile, bit of a stinkbug look, but I'm 6'1" and it made the top of the windshield feel even lower. I don't think these were really designed with the NA market in mind. It feels more balanced and less tippy with the torsion bars tightened and the front even, but stiffer ride too.

While I was down there I noticed that the body/frame bushings looked a little worn out so I tightened them all up, and on some of them I easily tightened the bolt a couple of turns. Car feels like it corners on rails now, relative to before at least. Could just be psychosomatic, but my wife noticed less body lean as well, she just thought I was driving more conservatively.
