look for some ideas

I'm looking for some ideas for a swing away rear spare tire carrier for my build. Like to see how you all done yours, especially the latch. Could I see some pictures please.

I built one for my Jeep, not the trailer but the latch is transferable. Just FYI a spare depending on size that is a lot of weight to have of the back of a trailer.

I will post pictures when I can find them, but I just built a T handle from a grade 8 bolt and steel stock. Double nits on the back of a 3/16" plate.

Not a great picture but what I have tonight. Is a simple fail safe set up, no latch to break. Is just a T handle that threads into the two welded in nuts on the rear of the stopper plate 3/16' angle.
