Hey Everybody, I found this in Montevideo, Uruguay. Funny thing is, that it is in exactly the same spot it was 4 months ago, when I was first there. Thought you guys might find it interesting.

That is just way too cool - Series I Land Rover with fantastic patina

Just think of the places its been and the stories it could tell...

Lovely old truck, not quite as old as the door in pic 4

One of the things I loved in latin america was the old architecture,
the front doors on some of the old buildings are works of art.

with colonial courtyards within and terraced acomodation.

A classic in its natural enviorment.....:bigbossHL:

I love series one trucks. Nice find.

What I would really like is an old Series One Tickford. Supposedly there are some here in the states. I'm always keeping my eyes peeled in hopes of finding one.

All of Montevideo is like that. It is way more like a European city than anyplace else in South America I have been to. This was in a pretty rough part of town near the port. But as I said, I was there at the very end of January and this was, I think, in the exact same spot. It may not run.
