Michael Geary, mechanic for the London to Singapore Overland 2010 Expedition (re-tracing the 1955 1st Overland Expedition), contacted me via the Series II Club forum and is looking for 2 Koenig crank-driven winches (as the trucks on the original expedition had). I know these are relatively rare ...at least detached from vehicles but if anyone knows where one might be or where bits of them might be found I'm sure that Michael would appreciate any tips we could supply him.
