ZJ, i am a very experienced off road driver. I have a Montero, and I've run that trail. So while I have not driven my Montero in Moab yet, I answered by saying that what I recall of Kane Creek I don't think you'd have any issues. I further volunteered the opinion that Moab Rim trail might not be so fun... or perhaps TOO fun. Scott's post seems to agree with me.

I've got a 93 Pajero which is set up identically to an SR except for a diesel engine... I've done Moab trails twice now... open diffs front and rear, 33x10.50 bfg mt's, but rock sliders...I've done KaneCreek, Metal Masher, Hells Revenge, Steel Bender, fins 'n things, and a bunch of others, over the course of two different weeks, two different years. I didn't need winching with the exception of the end of Kane when I blew through two sidewalls simultaneously! No broken axles...

Moab is a lot of fun in a mostly stock montero-pajero!
