This is the best price I have seen for a great winch. www.quadratec.com
And it includes a roller fairlead.

Where are Milemarker winches made? Are they US-made?Scenic WonderRunner said:Mile Marker PE8000 Electric Winch with Roller Fairlead

This was the point of my question. Warn-branded winches I think are all still made in Oregon. I'd rather pay the extra $200 for a M8000, which has been in production for a long time and parts and customer service are available.Alaska Mike said:China, I believe.

When I bought one from them they had a $50 gift card deal, which is more or less the same deal.
If you order from them, make sure you give them a working daytime phone number, though, since the winches come truck ship (but they'll unload at a residence for free) and the truck ship guys won't leave the winch without talking to you. They tried to re-deliver mine four times before they thought to leave a note for me; I had only given my home number which I never answer and has no answering machine. A quick call to their main office had the winch sitting on my patio the next day.
One quick side-note for folks who are thinking about the M8000 and similar winches: the integrated solenoid models, if they work for your application (space, clearances, airflow) are probably a better monetary deal. The total cost for additional wire (2ga welding cable =$2/foot, 2ga marine grade wire = $6/foot), terminals, and labor to remote-mount my solenoids ate up much of the cost savings of the M8000, took extra time to get things installed and working, and required a bunch of running around to get parts.
EDIT: I still have the $50 gift card that they sent me and can't really think of anything else I want to order from them right now. If someone wants to buy it from me or has something interesting to trade for it, I'm all ears.
