Mail-order parts Internationally?

oz23 is a new JK owner on another forum and can't find an economical way to get parts. I see this come up, time and again, and I never know what to tell the poor guys.

Anybody know a good way to get things to Europe or a Europe to Europe site?

hello everyone... i am from cyprus... and i wanna get some parts for my jk 4dr..
so does anyone know any internet site from europe to get some parts? because i tried to get from usa but the shipping costs tooooo much...and i am looking from europe.. thank u... can anyone help me where to find the parts from europe?

I know most of the German guys I used to ride with in Germany who had built up Jeeps, got their stuff from the US. It costs a fortune to build a Jeep over there.

Im sure there are places to buy certain parts, but the markup and euro conversion negates most savings from just shipping it from the US.

if its big and heavy, its going to cost, no way arround it.

My neighbour just shipped shared container Houston -Qatar 500kg cost him 1200 usd

Small stuff I often order and have sent easily with US International Priority mail.

Fedex and DHL for a fixed rate package are OK too but a bit more costly.

It often takes a while to find a company that ships internationally too

For the big drooly stuff, I bought a welder ! and just buy the odd parts I need while on vacation.

His only other option is local fab

and or robing parts from other trucks which fit - ie springs shocks etc


Being in an international company we help each other too when transfering......sliping the bulky stuff inside another emplyee's container.

We do this and get ripped all the time in Greece!!!!!!
USPS is the cheapest way...
Keep in mind that Jeeps in Cyprus are RHD.

Get ahold of Ideal Offroad, he ships a bunch of stuff to Greece.
