Where in the hell can I purchase a replacement Mantec snorkel top online?
This was the only thing I could find.

I bet you could find something similar at a tractor supply. This looks
the same as the air intake on my series 2000 Ford diesel tractor.
It's a late '70s model. Good luck my friend.
Rovers North. Though you will likely need to call them.

It DOES look a bit similar. Not the same, but similar...

I'm sure there are others, but you can probably find local dealers of at least one of these in your area.
Check heavy equipment dealers, that's the most common type of dealer who carries them.
These are all centrifugal precleaners.
Is this snorkel top going on a genuine Mantec snorkel body?
It's not.
Then just go with whatever snorkel top turns you on. Mantec snorkels are expensive, difficult to install and overall pretty old school. I think they are perfect for the DIs, and seem to be the only snorkel that looks appropriate on that model. The DIIs have more plastic and trimming on them, so the other snorkels look fine. Of course the mantec functions as intended and has the added benefit of the snorkel body being located inside the fender, but all those details are pretty irrelevant. The primary motivation to run a snorkel is because they look sweet :snorkel:
There are better options for precleaners and water evacuating heads now. In addition, the Mantec head needs to be installed facing rearward, which will affect HP (vacuum).
...Besides, I think it looks rather.... "ghetto" with the Safari top turned backwards to keep crap out of it...
What kind of crap gets in it?
Yeah, how common are those wide open, desert areas in Canada? Ive been running mine facing forward and recently changed my air filter after thousands of miles. It looked no different than a stock filter with the same mileage.
