Manual Transmission?

What would be a decent 5 speed manual transmission.:smiley_drive:

I haven't owned a Ford for over 20 years, I don't know model numbers, that and I am not an expert.

Ford OEM/ZF
1995 - 1997 S5-47, available in petrol (360/460), diesel (6.9, 7.3), two and four wheel drive.

1999-2003 S6-?? six speed (also / diesel / 2 / 4) (Petrol? V10 pattern?)

There are a lot more nv4500 options but this depends on your motor as well, you did not say?

They also made a ZF-5 with a small block pattern. That's what's behind my 4BT. Great tranny, fully synchronized, .76 overdrive with a deep 1st for a granny gear. Look for cracks in the aluminum around the transfer case mount and the bell housing. Not common, but possible.

Both the ZF and NV have PTO ports too.

The ZF is a surprisingly good transmission. Glad it was included in the list
