Anyone using maps.me with Apple CarPlay? Recently, I assume there was some update to either maps.me or CarPlay, maps.me has started showing a big navigation popup only on the car display. If I just want to see the map, and not “navigate” I can’t dismiss the popup, which blocks a lot of the map. This doesn’t happen on the phone screen. I really like maps.me for off grid use but this makes it almost useless. And if I enter a destination to make the popup go away, then other prompts, scaling issues etc make seeing where I am awkward. Maybe this happens with Android Auto also? Anyway, suggestions welcomed. Vehicle is 2020 Ford if that makes any difference.
