2011 OFF-ROAD TRAILER for QUADS, MOTORCYCLES, TENTS (CAMPING); $1,650.00 or best reasonable offer

Former U.S. Marine Corps HMMWV Humvee cargo trailer built to carry 1.4 tons off-road. It has twelve swivel tie-downs in the bed (flat for strap, curved for hook), 12 volt lighting with 4-pin flat connector (tested), hydraulic service brakes applied by “surge” master cylinder in the tongue with break-away valve and cable. Plus, it has two hand brakes, one for each wheel, to secure it from rolling.

The tongue has a nice, heavy-duty jack with roller. It has a heavy-equipment lunette ring tongue; the vehicle connector would be a pintle hitch, readily-available from ebay, Amazon, and other retailers. This is more flexible than a standard ball hitch and a LOT tougher.

The frame is heavy steel, the body is aluminum with 3/8” rivet nuts on top so you can bolt-on a platform for a tent. This trailer also has two adjustable stabilizer legs. There are some dents from rough storage, and the headboard has been straightened and repaired with galvannealed steel sleeves.

Paint is military “CARC”, a chemical-resistant coating. Rattle-cans are available for touch-up (non-CARC type paint).

Like-new tires with excellent tread on Humvee style wheels. The tire size is 16.5” rim X 8.25”w X 37” diameter, two-piece steel HMMWV compatible rim, 8 on 6.5” inch bolt pattern.

The original manual on CD which explicitly explains all maintenance comes with it.

Dimensions:
135" total length x 87.5” width x 52.5” tall; tongue is approximately 28” with trailer level, unloaded. Ground Clearance is 16”. Inside box is 80.3” width, box depth/length 88”.

Weight Empty: 1,460 pounds,max payload 2,740 pounds, gross vehicle weight 4,200 pounds

Also, this trailer, by federal law, may not be exported outside of the United States and may only be possessed by a United States of America citizen. Sale will be contingent on face-to-face transfer with the Buyer signing an affidavit that he/she is a U.S. citizen and is not under indictment for violations of the Arms Control Act.
