So, it is pretty old, then? Old vehicles are pretty rare in Japan, since they tax them heavily in order to get you to buy a new car.

IIRC production stopped sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Spidey-sense says 1992 but take that with a grain of salt.

Canada is being "flooded" with JDM imports. We allow anything to be imported as long as it is at least 15 years old. We are seeing lots of cool RHD diesel TLCs, Nissan SKyline GT-Rs, Suzuki Cappuccinos, etc., etc.

I was seriously considering getting a diesel 80 series TLC this summer but decided to buy a normal North American spec car instead. For all its flaws, I really like my XJ. It brings a smile to my face when I get behind the wheel the same way my S2K does. Surprising considering it is such a crude POS in comparison. LOL

haha, yeah, I thought so too, I'm a BIG mitsubishi fan (I've owned like 7) and frankly I was suprised I'd never heard of it until a few days ago.

I still wish they'd bring the Delica over here!
