Hi!

I need a bit of help. It seems our alternator has given up the ghost.
I can just but a new one, but 24V and 35A just doesn’t cut it.
Has anyone found a direct replacement above or around 24V and 100A preferably internally regulated?
The engine is a OM352 btw.

Sorry for the delay. The actual purchase was made by Terry Lee Enterprises. The alternator was a new, 100A, 24v unit. Other than the pulley, it was plug and play for our 917. Give Nations a call.

Thanks! I found out that an alternator from a several machines and trucks work, like Actros, Citaro etc...
I bouhgt one one German Eaby for €77. All it needed was to exchange the pulley from the old one and voilá: 100A 24V.
It's even internally regulated, so easier to wire up.
