MC4 connectors -- do I need a special crimper?

Hi All,

I'm new to this solar wiring game, and am wondering if I need a special crimping tool to work with MC4 connectors, or if I can just use my regular crimper.

I haven't used a special crimper for my connections, but I felt like it was worthwhile to use just a little solder at the crimp location (red). No problems in regular use over the last couple of years.
