Meandered up a Mexican Volcano... 14,047 ft.

Who knows what the proper route planning technique is for climbing a volcano? I ended up charging right up the main lava flow... really unstable and entirely unsafe! Okay, I'm looking for another excuse to post my creepy photos.

Congratulations again on the trip to the volcano, I think your pictures are great, I just do not think people know or are aware of what it takes to get that close to the main scoop!:wings: :wings: :wings:

I for one do understand what you acomplished!

Once again, thanks!
It's no big deal... everybody is just doing their thing. I just had a urge to post some more of the pictures. If anyone wants to research it in the future, they can see what it is like up at the top.

very cool. what was the smell like? elevation gain?

I hiked from camp 12,345 ft to the top at 14,042 ft. It smelled just like fear and adrenaline. I didn't detect sulfer or anything else unusual.
