My wife has decided that off road travel is no longer her thing, so Betty Buster our faithful van is for sale.
Built in 1993 for the Norwegian police and used as a command vehicle for the winter Olympics in Lillihamer, then not used much as 60 thousand kms on the clock when I got it, now 80 K.
All you need to live and travel including;
Left hand drive
Cetre and rear diff. lock
200 litre extra fuel tank
300 litre water tank and 70 litre grey water
Webasto water heater and separate air heater.
Awning
Fully insulated for Norwegian winter
Shower and composting toilet
Fixed double bed
Webasto fridge freezer
200 w solar panels, split charge relay and 800w inverter
Gas tank (enough for 4 months)
Smev 4 ring hob with grill/oven
Shod with Michelin XZY's
Undersealed and solid
7.5 tons gross (weighs about 5) so C1 licence needed
I would fit air bags on the back, as despite all new bushes, shocks and retempered springs still a bit hard (air brakes so just bags needed)
It's not quick or quiet, so maybe fast diffs and a 6 speed box and more sound insulation, or do as I do and go slow!
A few spots of surface rust, but nothing major, (I spent my budget on diesel rather than paint)
Speaking of which, about 20 to the gallon.
I have spent £30,000 and would like to get that back, not counting 1000s of hours of labour.

Only going to a good home, I'm in no rush.
