Hi, My son is chasing some recommendations for brand as well as suppliers, so he can purchase a couple of spare tubes. He has not had any success when talking to tyre service centres in Murray Bridge in South Australia any information will be greatly appreciated.
If you see an old Canter with a A-Van on the back, say hello.
Thank you,
Dennis

Hi Dennis

Try Beaurepairs in Yandina.......yeah, that's a long way from you but a couple of tubes shouldn't be that much in the post. I know they used to carry that size but if you strike out please don't hesitate to send me a PM and I'll ask one of my mates where he buys his from..... He still has 4 or 5 Canters on XZLs and goes through a lot of those tyres and tubes.

Regards John.

Not sure where in Aus you are, here in Perth Kal tire can usually get the Michelin tubes. They are more expensive than other brands, but I would seriously recommend against using any others, they are much thinner and all the vehicles we've run with Korean or Chinese tubes have had numerous problems with the tubes holing, rubbing thru etc. They also seem physically smaller than the 16N tube, more like a 34" tyre or something like that. Means the tube has to stretch more.

Thank you

A big thanks to both of you, I spoke to Beaurepaires at Yandina and have to get back to them on Monday, when the owner is around to see if they will ship them. I will also ring Kal Tires on Monday as they are not open on Saturdays.
Cheers

Haha...... They're only 300 meters from the post office!!!!!! Just let me know if you need any help. I'll stick them in the post bag myself if they say no.

Kind regards John
