Beautiful shots, and it looks like you had great weather. :)
I was kayaking around 12 mile beach about 2 weekends ago- nice sea caves.

Currently reside Hudsonville, about halfway between Holland and Grand Rapids.
The kayak is a feathercraft kahuna that we've had for the last 8 years. It's a folding kayak back from when we lived in a cramped NY apt.

Good to see another Michigan thread up here!

I seriously think that if the Michigan tourism board folks hired ExPo members to prepare their Michigan promotional literature, the popularity of our tourism industry would improve substantially. Pics like these and upcruiser's (and any others who I'm forgetting) and the stories behind them capture the best of Michigan far better than the travel brochures you can find at the Michigan Welcome Center rest stops along the interstate or the literature that the Michigan tourism board people send out.

Good work, guys!!

Are you going to Treetops?
How was Colorado? I leave tomorrow for a week on the Great Divide Trail.

Hey Matt,

It's been a busy summer. We had a great time in CO. Just got back from a (rainy)weekend camping trip near Battle Creek, There are some really nice Mt biking trails in the area that you would like. I think we are planning to do the treetops run..

We'll see you soon...Have a great trip!

Wow, fantastic shots! Especially the shipwreck shot. That's a world I don't have access to other then shoreline snorkelling. Where was that wreck? I'm assuming near the western end of Pictured rocks by the looks of the pictures. Great looking Rover too. I'm 45 minutes from Pictured Rocks but I've only been over that way once so far this summer. I need to get the yak in over there before the rough-seas weather starts coming.

If any of you guys get up this way again, don't be a stranger. I'd love to tag along or offer any advice that I could. I'm in South America for most of September but will be around and planning some UP trips/adventures in October.
