I have owned a Contax G1 (G2 mod)with the Carl Zeiss 35mm f2 lens for a few years. I traded a couple of swap meet find cameras (total cost $60) for it. Most every comment I read about the G1 said it was crap and the price for a G1 with the 35mm lens was around $300. My G1 and 35 lens are (KEH ratings) like new. I go to the KEH site yesterday and the prices have rocketed. My lens is selling(asking) almost $600 and the body is around $250. Did some searching and I believe the Micro 4/3 adapters have something to do with the lens price increase. Seems Micro 4/3 camera owners have been buying the Contax Zeiss lens to use with adapters for their cameras.
