I bought a few of these Military Surplus Night Vision Cases from various online sources. They are made by Starlight - 061016 Case and can be found new and used at many online Army/Navy surplus websites. I got mine for about $25 each. I'm using them to store some electronics and optics.
The inside dimensions are 16" X 10" X6". They are stackable and feel completely bomb proof. They seal tight and the purge valve works great.
The cases typically come with a styrofoam type insert already molded to the night vision goggle. This styrofoam insert removes easily and can be replace with your own foam or replacement soft foam can be purchased from Starlight here.
Replacement O-Rings are also availiable from Starlight.

These things are great. I've been using a couple for several years now and will grab some more at the next opportunity.

I find a pair of them hold all the bar supplies for the High Desert Yacht Club.

I have seen them online for around $30 plus $10 shipping, do you have any insight on where i could find them for $25?

I just saw a bunch of these this past weekend while out driving around. Was cruising around one of the small towns here in Louisiana (Many) and saw a few old military tool trailers and a bunch of other military boxes out front of a house. Well of course I had to turn around. He had ones like that for $20 or so, but they were in a lot rougher conditions. He also had some the the medical chest boxes (is $40 a decent price for those?). I know I should have picked a couple up for the heck of it, but I can never think what I'm gonna use them for at the time. I told him to find some old Scepter cans too if he could.

I have one of these from when I was in the .mil.. somewhere a set of NVG's got snagged up, and all we got back from downrange was an empty case...it now holds my own personal night vision device... A lantern..
