MIL Warnings and P0443 Error Code

Hey guys, hoping to get some help with my Comanche/Cherokee FrankenJeep. :)

So I have a '99 Comanche engine and wiring in my '87 Comanche. The check engine light has been on since I got it, and from I was told when I picked it up, they didn't look into more deeply because Utah doesn't have very strict emissions standards. I ran my generic OBDII reader on it and got P0132 and P0135. So I swapped in a new O2 sensor before the cat and new fuses for the O2 heater circuit. That solved those codes, but I was still getting CEL warnings. So I took it to the shop for a more detailed read, and got the following:

So I went and bought part #4669475AB - a Canister Purge Solenoid Control. I went online and found the following diagram:

And picture from this guy's cherokee:

I then went under my own hood to see what was what. I found a loose wiring harness that corresponded with where I thought the solenoid should go, based on the other guys setup, and was left with the following:
EvapCanisterMarked.jpg

The solenoid is hooked in to the wiring (#1 in the picture) which I am sure would complete the circuit and perhaps get rid of the code showing, but I would like to actually get the system working properly. Unfortunately, as might be expected, I didn't see any hoses floating around accept for the one marked #2 in the picture above. That hose seems to have some sort of stem in the end, and perhaps if I removed it, it would be the right size to connect to the solenoid, but I can't be certain. Long story short, I am not entirely sure where to go from here. I am also not entirely sure whether I even have an evap canister in the loop. I can provide more pictures if needed and would greatly appreciate any and all advice on how to proceed. Thanks guys!

[EDIT] Ok, so after a second look, I realize I don't have an evap canister. I guess I'm missing the entire system. I guess I need to look at that diagram and start from scratch installing pieces.. :p

First off was the 99 engine swap a federal or CA emissions package? You will then need the entire evap system from a 99 Cherokee with corresponding emissions. Are you trying to get this smogged in the PRK?:)
