Mission Critical Parts for Trip!

Ok I can’t find the parts and tool thread that use to be up on the sticky.
I’m going to be on a month long climbing trip in Wyoming this summer and want to make sure I have any sensors of parts covered that are mission critical to get be back into a town. Were not really going to be out on any hardcore trails, so I don’t feel ill need axles or there major driver line parts past u-joints. Mostly just than dirt road but 40 miles out on a dirt road is still 40 mile out on a dirt road and I would like to easily be able to limp back to a town if need be.

Happy Motoring

Put spare parts in a friend's Jeep or Toyota and invite him to go climbing with you.
LOL

Get a new battery and carry belts etc.

x2 on ckps.
u-joints aren't mission critical since you have CDL and will be on dirt roads.
If you go ahead and rebuild your propshafts and lube them well before leaving you should be safe there.
If you want to keep it simple take things that will disable you, like the ckps. Brake light switch will, but can be bypassed.
Belt, tensioner pulley, etc.
Print the alarm spider fix instructions and take them with you with a small 12v soldering iron. http://www.scribd.com/doc/32702997/Alarm-Spider-Fix

Fuses!! I just found out the other night if you blow the brake fuse it has the same effect as a bad brake switch when it comes to getting the beast out of park. Or, just don't hook up to any junky borrowed trailers like I did.
