Mojave Trail Cleanup

Land Rover Las Vegas was a proud sponsor of this year's Mojave Trail Cleanup. Earlier this month we set out from Fort Mojave at the Colorado River at the Arizona/Nevada border and headed West finishing Soda Springs (just South of Baker, CA). Along the way we encountered very little trash (that goodness!) and very few obstacles. We enjoyed and photographed many of the interesting landmarks along the way like Ft Piute, some petroglyphs, Government Holes, Camp Rock Springs, Marl Springs and Camp Soda, to name just a few. Our guide was Dennis Casebier (pictured) who wrote many books on the Mojave Trail and the surrounding area. Enjoy the photos!

That was awesome! The trash area is around what we call the "big tree", between the dunes to Soda Dry Lake. The area where the dirt bike AC's hang out and leave their beer cans and junk behind. They are the people who are going to get areas closed to the rest of us.
