Are there any companies still making suspension kits for the gen 2 Montero? Im currently shopping for a Montero and Im trying to get a better idea of whats available before I pull the trigger on a purchase. Ive seen some old threads referencing Old Man Emu kits but I dont see anything on their website for pre-2000 models.

Check out Adventure Driven Design. I loved the ride of my 1995 with the Bilstein 4600 shocks and stock springs. They also have different spring options available. I tried the Bilstein 5100 shocks but they were too soft for my vehicle with stock springs.

Looks like King also has a kit if you want to spend big money.

Koni Heavy Track shocks are pretty cool. When I get another Gen 2 I'll be trying these out myself. Adjustable rebound damping sounds like fun to play with.

Lovells springs (up to 1.5” lift) from Luso Overland, with some Bilstein shocks (either 4600 or 5100) is a tried and true combo. Lovells torsion bars from Luso as well, if you want to be extra fancy.
