Where's a good source for oil cooler lines? One of mine is leaking and it doesn't look like rockauto or local parts stores have any. Ebay has some, but shipping from china, and don't look quite right.
Dude, you are way overthinking this. Every city has a couple/few+ hydraulic hose repair shops. If you look at your hoses, it doesn't have clamps on the hose where it connects to a fitting. The metal over it is called a swaged(sp?) fitting. Tractors, forklifts, lulls, dump trucks, etc all use hydraulic hoses, and someone is around to fix them. Hopefully it's not your only vehicle. If it is, you should see if they will work with you. Have the hoses in hand when they open their doors, and can you please get it done today? And don't forget new crush washers!I'll have look into that, althought I don't live in a big city. Do you know if it's difficult to use oil cooler line kits to make your own? Since the montero uses a banjo bolt with pressed fitting, it seems like it wouldn't work well, not sure how much pressure is in these particular lines though.
