I had not been pleased with the original 4Runner’s headlights. Looking around I found and loved the Morimoto XB LED Headlights and fog lights for my 4Runner. However, I was not able to find any info for the 4Runner and wanted to make sure to share so that others looking for options have some info for making a decision.
I have included a picture of the lights on low and high beam. You can see the difference. I did make sure that the lights were 34” and 25’ and that definitely put the light pattern out in front like expected.
I think the biggest surprise was the crisp line for the light at the top. It took a few days to get use to, but once you see it when you come up behind someone, you know you are not blinding them with the light. It stays nicely below the back window.
Picture 1: Low beams
Picture 2: Hight beams
Picture 3: Front view of the headlights and fog lights off.
Picture 4: Front view of headlights and fog lights on. I op’d for yellow sequential light.
I would like to give a shout out to Wanderlust Overland out of Oregon City who installed my lights.
Hope the information was helpful and please let me know if you have any questions.
