Most Common Little Pizza Cutters (215 or 225 75/80/85) Stock Diameter

I'm thinking about going to narrower and slightly smaller tires to help with power. I could care less about how manly the truck looks. Pizza cutters are fine with me.

I drive a 98' SR5 2.7L 3RZ 5spd with 3.56 gears predominately at over 7000'. Stock tires are 235/75R15 on steelies.

Alloys wheels (16") would help with lowering rotational weight, and I might have better luck finding 215/75R15 instead of 215/80R15. Alloys might also allow me to run slighter taller tires in a narrower width due to reduced overall weight.

215/80R15 (closest to stock diameter - very rare)
Hankook Dynapro AT-M
I've only found one tire commonly available in this size.

215/75R16 (closest to stock diameter - rare in offroad selection)
Not much available in this size.

215/85R16 (most common in 215 tread width, an inch taller)
Lots of tire available in this size.

Thoughts?

Just make sure to check the plies - most of those 16's are going to be E rated only, so will actually be heavier than C rated 15's, and make your washboard ride even worse.

I like checking Treaddepot.com as they weigh all the tires they sell and can give some perspective.
