So, I've finally decided on a winch, but I'm a little stumped as to what synthetic line to choose for it. I'm tempted by the 5/16" MP Superline (not the XD), although I'm not sure if it'd really be worth the extra. So far, the advantages I see are:
- Ability to fit 25' more on the drum (I live on the East Coast, land of plentiful anchor points, so this may be meh)
- Pre-stretched, so respooling under tension isn't required? (Just a guess, but this seems like it would save a lot of time, especially when multiple pulls are required in a trip)
Am I missing any other benefits? Anyone who's gone to this line and wouldn't switch back?
Thanks in advance!
