Someone please explain if you can. In FL the 4Runner gets 15-16mpg sometimes topping 17 if the ethanol mix is lower. When I travel to GA I gain 1 mpg placing me in the 16-17 mpg, on to AL where 18-19 mpg is the norm, what gives? I don't think the hill theory work as my heavy rig works to get up. Ethanol variance is my theory. Truck is 2002 4runner with 3.4 v6 (newly rebuilt), 295 nitto AT's and 4.88 gears, armor bumper winch and God knows what else.
