This was my big trip for the year.
Drove from FT. Myers to Odessa FL
-to New Orleans, FL
-to Killeen, TX
-to Marble Falls, TX (for offroad weekend)
-back to Killeen
-to Austin, TX
-back to Killeen
-to Lake Charles, LA
-to Ft. Walton Beach, FL
-finishing up (tomorrow) by driving back home to Fort Myers
Activities:
-spent time with friends in LA and TX
-spent time with family in FL and TX
-"drive thru" zoo park
-hiking both day in night in various parks around killeen, TX and in Lake Charles, LA
-spent time at the beach, lakes, and creeks
-spent a damn good weekend offroading at Hidden Falls
-broke some motor mounts
-toured Austin and its famous buildings
-drove all through New Orleans
-spent time on Ft. Hood
-had some handgun instruction at Killeen Police Dept's academy
-visited Land Rover Austin
-went to an Aquarium in Ft. Walton Beach (sucked LOL)
-saw some tar balls on the beach
-
all the random crap like the knives, first aid kit, pelican cases, etc etc, is stuff i was given, bought, or found in the woods (like the dog jaw or fire extinguisher.

Rover ran great minus the broken motor mounts which have been upgraded. final mileage not determined yet as i still have my last leg back to fort myers to complete but it will be over 3,000 miles.
2 weeks was fun, but i wish i had more time to continue my journey to other parts of texas or farther west.
