It's been a fun 3 years since I picked my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (Mojave Edition).
When I picked up my Jeep the single best advise I got was to enjoy the Jeep in stock form for a while and really understand what the JK is all about. I'm happy to say I've been doing just that! I've also spent some time browsing a few Jeep + Expo forums and slowly piecing together a build sheet based on what things i'd like to do with my JK, my girlfriend and our dog.
To keep it short I've really enjoyed reading everyones posts on Expedition Portal. I haven't been participating as much as I would like but i'm hoping to change that now.
My build will evolve over time, as they always do, but for the most part my goal is the same: To build an expo rig that is simple and capable hitting some of the western trails (MOAB, Alpine Loop, Montana) and accommodate our gear. There's a long list of other things i'd like to factor in but at first blush that's idea. Details will develop with this thread and with everyones insight.
For now, I just wanted to introduce myself and thank all of you in advance for your insight and for sharing the expo lifestyle with me!
