My new project

I just bought this pathfinder from a guy at work. I could'nt pass up this van, he has had it for years and when he said he was going to sell it I had to have it. When I pick it up next week, I will take some photos.

I have not done any research on pathfinder vans yet, but the drivetrain seemed like a good setup. 460v8, C6 auto, Dana 70 rear, dana 44 or 60 front.
the interior is empty, a blank slate, I can't wait.

The only major change I would like to make is to add a pop top roof like some of the sportsmobiles.

Any suggenstions, comments, words of wisdom, or parts connections would be appreciated.:1888fbbd:

Very cool. I'm digging the diversity. And it's gotta be pretty exciting to have a blank slate to work with.

This is cool...now we've got a few 4x4 van's on the site!:luxhello:

I'm somewhat in the same boat as you now, 4x4 van with a blank interior. I've ordered some foil-foam-foil insulation what i'm going to cover pretty much the entire interior with (it's supposed to provide pretty good insulation plus provides some sound deadening and is thin). For the floor I've got plywood now and i'll probably laydown some vinyl flooring...i just want something cheap and easy to clean.

I've been working on a couch\futon style bed that will provide storage underneath and then after that it's onto some more cabinets, sink, water tank, etc....for mine my goal is to have it similar to a sportsmobile.

Congrats on the new purchase!
