When I started researching examples of these folding tables, there were so few to be had, that I thought I would share for posterity for others looking for ideas.
Mine was made with the following items:
mounted position is angled due to door not being level at full open. Also mounted at close to desk height (approx 29").
Mine was made with the following items:
- 24"X12" 1/2" marine starboard lumber (purchase at West Marine and cut to 22" length)
- stainless piano hinge cut to length (Lowe's)
- marine rotating cabinet latch (West Marine)
- suspended by sleeved stainless braid cord salvaged from dog yard chain
- mounted using4mm bolts and rivnuts
