My offroad trailer

Just had a thought that since i have finally bought an offroad trailer i would say hi to you all.

Firstly, its been great looking at all the builds with some great ideas, some of which i hope to steal.

So anyway here is a few pic's of my trailer. I bought it off the bloke who built it from scratch and am slowly fixing it up and changing it to how i like it.

Ohh im located in Australia :) haha

First up a pic of the tow rig. Its a FZJ80 running 4inch progressive coil suspension with remote reservior shocks, 35s, roofrack, solar panel, awning, rear drawers, 60L fridge, ARB winch bar etc.

Here is the kitchen of the trailer. It rolls out on bearings and is the full width of the trailer. Basically it was designed to have plastic crates in all the holes. I will probably redesign this or make a whole new kitchen as i find it a bit impractical. However it is useable for now. Also has an eezi awn awning for cover.

The electrics... resettable fuse box, kill switch, 1000W pure sine wave inverter, solar panel regulator (HAD 2x 80W solar panels, one smashed so only one left), 2 x 154 amp/hour deep cycle batterys. This is how i bought it and i will change a few little things but nothing major.

This shows the storage all round. It is lit with LED strips on remote. Again the storage area was all plastic crates which works fine. The horizontal doors do need struts to hold them open though.
It came with a mouldy ARB tent which has been replaced already with a hannibal jumbo tourer (1200x1400mm version) with 4 wall annex. However i am having issues with the ladder being a bit too long as the tent base is only 1600mm above the ground. I have contacted hannibal aus. and still waiting for a reply.

and the beefy independent coil suspension. Tows like a dream especially once i get an electric brake controller for the 80.
The tyres are 285/75/16 but i am planning to run 6 stud landcruiser pattern and the 315/75/16 tyres like the car. I will then remove the fuel can holder and carry two spares on the car.

Between the wheel arches there is a huge 400L watertank (way to big!) with electric water pump and water level sensor.

Hope you like it guys.

I will try to keep it updated as i change what i want to suit me. Feel free to ask questions or for more detailed pics.

EDIT: a build up thread from the previous owner: http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=8076.0
it has a few more decent pictures of it in use.
