My solution to a problem...

I was having some issues with my Jeep. The front axle a Dana 30 was acting squirrelly when it was put in 4wd. I think I had it diagnosed as broken axle shaft spline, it would grab and lurch at odd times. The steering was getting progressively looser, really had to pay attention at speed, it would change lanes on it's own! I wanted lockers. I wanted a hard top, the hot/cold soft top was getting old and coming apart. The thought of several thousands of dollars to fix all of these issues had me perplexed as I didn't posses an extra bankroll at the time. Drove by the local dealership and there set a beautiful fire engine red Rubicon! My initial attempt at a trade was fruitless, but persistence paid off. I'm swapping out bumpers, lights, winch, and all my goodies to the new Jeep as we speak! Poor Ol'Yeller looks mighty sorry with all of the 2010 parts bolted onto her bones, but the new Ruby is shaping up nicely! Fixed all of my old Jeeps problems and the payments are cheaper!(however much longer duration) My solution was to just fix all of my concerns at once! Now I'm going to have to change my screen name...

It won't help!:wings:

After 'problem after problem' with my CJ7 (after completely rebuilding the drivetrain) I named it "Bad Mojo" due to it's bad luck.

I removed the Bad Mojo from the hood last March, in preperation for my trip to Moab. (Everything was going great, had about 4K miles on it with no problems)

Drove to Moab (1500 miles one way) wheeled for 8 days, and headed home.

About 1000 miles from home, after pulling the CO mountains dragging my AT trailer with, the block cracked:snorkel:

I wish you better luck!:coffeedrink:

Congrats on the new Jeep!
