My grandfather lives near there. I have never been, but they said it was an amazing place. He is not a believer, so he views it a bit diffrently then I do.

Not as big a believer myself...but you don't have to believe to appreciate the goodness and humanity of it all. It was very pretty out there. Tell him you are taking him off road then arrive at the mountain....lol.

The first time that I visited The Slabs (1996?), I was not aware of Salvation Mt. and it really blew me away. Actually kind of freaky.
