Picked this up this morning!

Still has tags and everything is solid! The previous owner said he oiled her down every year and has taken good care of her. He sure has!

Future plans include paint(fire red) Tires(BFG AT's) and wheels(MT Classic) to match.
A softop cover for now that matches my soft top. I also plan on doing a SOA swap with it, new tailgate. Remove spare tire. Replace fenders with flat style.

Congrats on a great find! It's your trailer and all, but ... please, when you adapt it to your needs keep it as original as possible ...

I might adapt my yakima load warrior basket to fit on top of the trailer as well, but not sure yet.

Has anyone tried using a jeep flare like on the back of my TJ for a trailer fender? It is a 7" wide flare and I think it might work! Also easy to replace and would follow the lines of my TJ. What do you think?

I haven't seen that done, would it be wide enough to provide a similar coverage of the tires?

As far as the profile, I'm a big fan of matching the tow vehicle as much as possible.

Not sure yet, hopefully by the weekend I can get out there and work on it a little. All I have done so far is rewire the lights.

That appears to be a T3-C, or civilian version of the Bantam. If you are going to modify a trailer, that is the prefered type over an original military unit. Looks to be in nice shape, good find!

Ordered those lights this AM and they already shipped! Sweet. I won't have any really progress until next Friday when I have the day off and I am taking the weekend to work on her.

Got one of my wheels test fitted and I having my buddy who owns www.kensoffroad.com make me some fenders. I did get some sanding and priming done on Saturady while the wife was working.
