Need A Picture Of AC Drain

I need a picture of the AC drain plug on the bottom of the truck. I 'think' it might be stopped up since my driver floorboard carpet is staying damp.

Or if no one has a picture, where is this thing located, whats it look like, and what else could be causing my problem?

Follow the transmission shifter cable up to where it goes through the floor. There is a rubber cone right in that area next to the trans. there is another one on the other side of the trans.

Here's some pics...

Attached are some pics of the plastic cones. I removed them and haven't had any problems since.

I wonder what purpose they are supposed to serve? I haven't removed mine, but they seem like they cause a lot of trouble. Never heard of another vehicle like this. I supposed they might be like "one way valves" for when you are water fording but, the water height would have to be up to the AC unit before it would cause any trouble, at which point it'll be coming in the door seals anyway?

Awesome, thanks! I glanced around that area the other day when I had the Disco on the lift but I had no idea where exactly to look, or what to look for. I'll give it another try.

Well, as it turns out, that isn't my problem. Someone has already cut the ends of them off so I just went ahead and removed them fully.

What else could be causing my problem?

Regardless of the nipple situation, have you checked if the lines are actually blocked inside?

Another common cause could be your sunroof drains. They get blocked, so the water ends up running down the inside of the A-pillar. Or in my case, a bad aftermarket windshield replacement left the windshield with a leak. I've also heard of a leak between the roof panel and the side panels.

Basically, if it's not those AC drains, you'll get the joy of removing all the interior to find your leak. Or, just remove the carpets, Linex the floor, and install a bilge pump. ;)

Well, I checked them as far as I could manage to get inside of them. Maybe I can find something to jab in there further.

Though it's not my sunroof drains, my Disco was apparently special ordered without sunroofs.

The thought of removing the carpet and replacing it with tan colored Linex has actually crossed my mind a time or two however. :sombrero:

I need to remove my AC drain plugs as well...

I think this is a great idea, however, I've met someone with a DII that's done this and says it makes the foot-wells warmer. Just something to think about.
