Need Assistance - Designing Dual Battery System for an LR3

Morning all,

I'm getting ready to implement a dual battery system into the LR3 and I would like to get some feedback before I hack into it..

In the past I've always used Hellroaring kits and although they're nice, I'm leaning towards something much simpler and less $$$ this time around. The LR3 is somewhat finnicky when it comes to electrical components so I want to keep it as simple as possible with minimum intrusion.

I've looked at marine isolator combiner modules from West Marine and I think one of those will do the job but they're so bulky. Finding a good spot to mount one inside the cabin of the LR3 would not only prove difficult it would detract from overall look and feel.

Does anyone have any suggestions on other options I could pursue?

Many thanks,

I recently purchased a Powermaster 904 from Jegs and I'm not very happy with it. It never charges the aux battery past 11.5v, while the main battery charges to 13v. Both batteries were bought the same time and I've swapped them to check it and the difference persists. Not to mention these things are huge....

I wouldn't recommend one of these but I haven't spoken with the company yet, I plan to as soon as I have time.
