Need Fender Input

I have this trailer that I am working on to make it into an offroad trailer. I have 35's on it right now and the only real option seems to be to build my own fenders.

I'd like any input anyone may have based on the cardboard mockup I have made.

I am planning on welding them up using 1" square tubing and some type of sheet metal for the flat surfaces.

Any thoughts on how these would work?

Pretty much exactly what i did. Works like a champ, and its nice to be able to stand on them, and have take a beating should the trailer ever roll on its side.

Very nice work! Do you do any tighter trails? I am thinking that I will need to make the diagonal for the front of the fenders stretch all the way to the front to work as a nerf on rocks.

BTW, I decided that I don't have enough time to actually go through the whole fabrication process before our trip at the end of the month. So, I am biting the bullet and getting the fenders from Martyn and AT. I will probably have to make some slight mods to make them work and incorporate the nerfs but I think for the money it will be the best way to go for me right now. I can get away with running without fenders here in California but am not anticipating that being the same in Or and WA.
