Souper,
I have my old one which worked when I removed it about a year ago. You can have it. I'm in Los Angeles. Let me know.

Awesome I'd appreciate that greatly! How did you wire up your Monty without? Wires to each speaker from the head unit?

Yes, I ended up removing the factory speaker wiring entirely and running new wiring directly from the head unit. The problem with using the factory amp/wiring I had is that each speaker doesn't get full spectrum sound. Up front, highs go to sill mounted tweeters, mids to dash speakers, and lows to door speakers. So when I replaced my door speakers with 3-ways, they weren't getting any high frequencies using the factory setup. This was problematic since I removed my broken tweeters and dash speakers and didn't want to replace them. Plus, the 4-way 6x9s I added in the rear only seemed to get low frequencies through the factory amp. Suffice to say the system sounded terrible that way. I'm only running 4 speakers now, but they are full spectrum and sound great for my purposes.

I know right!! I decided to rewire the system and bypass all the factory sound. Acquired a brand new Kenwood head unit for free on a barter and am going to get some components with crossovers to still utilize the tweet housings. Will get ten times better sound than what that out dates amp could give.

After tearing the panels off and seeing the condition of the speakers, I decided that it would be cheaper to just rewire direct and bypass that amp. Got a sweet deal on some mb quart components to replace the front tweets as well as the woofers. Included some great 6x9s too
