netbook racks and mounting?

We have a Hagglund BV206 and are using an MSI U100 netbook, running National Geographics TOPO! (For Alaska it has finer scale topo quads than Topo USA). Using the USGlobalSat MR-350 externallly mounted antenna. A great setup, but we need to come up with a rack mount that can be mounted on a flat, horizontal surface between the driver and passenger. The rack needs to be able to pivot and should brace the screen upright, but allow tilting of the screen if necessary. Any suggestions would help.

For the netbook, take a look at the Ram Mount Toughy II. I've already ordered mine up, just need to figure out how and where I want to put it. As for you and what to mount it on, get creative with some pipe. My first laptop mount was nothing more than some 1" steel pipe connect to the passenger seat with a piece of wood screwed into the top.
