New Adventure Chaser Need Help!

I just bought a new to me Adventure Trailer yesterday from Bergger on this forum: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32892

I'm loving it and the transaction I had with Bryan, he is first class!!! I'm trying to order a spare wheel for it and need to figure out the off-set. I located the wheel at 4 wheel parts, but there are 3 off-sets to choose from and I don't want to order the wrong one as I'm leaving for Baja next Friday!! Here is a link to the wheel with the 4" off-set: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/R...09&t_pt=100021&t_pl=100348&t_pn=PCW98-6883MS4

Does anybody know how to measure the off-set of an existing wheel as I have them on the trailer....

Thanks for your help in advance!

I believe you are looking for the backspacing. Simply remove the wheel and measure the distance from the hub mounting surface to the rear outer edge of the wheel. You might be able to eye ball it with a tape measure on the trailer.

Yes back spacing is what I meant! Not off-set!!! I know there is a way to measure the back spacing of my current wheels, just need to figure out what to measure....

16 Years on ExPo. Whoa!!
rear INNER edge to mounting surface is your backspacing. So for example if you have a 4.5" backspaced wheel than the inner lip to the mounting surface are 4.5" away. From there it goes out whatever your rim width is, 7" is usually about 7.5 or 8" overall width depending on your rim material (aluminum much thicker than steel, etc), to the far side to determine how much the wheel sticks out...
