New Battery Questions

Time to replace my battery on my 2002 4Runner. Is a red or yellow Optima my best best? Also are both of these a simple swap or do I need to make the cables longer which I'm not sure on how to do?

oh man you ask 5 people you get 5 different answers , mostly based on what people currently have in their truck . This is followed by the people who tell you how Optima quality has gone downhill as of late ... FWIW , I've run several Optima's , both red and yellow tops , and they were fine . My only gripe is I feel they're overpriced...and you shouldn't have to extend any battery cables .
