New to us LC :). I am sure that I will get to know Mr. Slee even better. The running boards and rear seats have already been moved to the storage building.

Congrats! Sounds like the start of new "build up" thread. Let the mods begin!:clapsmile

That's so sad and true...it's like being on crack, only more expensive.

Spent the evening searching for tires for the 18" wheels. Wanted to get as much height as possible without trimming wheel wells, on road ride is important, also want traction....I know, pick 2. Narrowed it down to 3different tires:

Bridgestone Revo's, 265/70/18, 32.6 dia
Nitto Terra Grapler LT 285/65/18, 32.5 dia
Goodyear Silent Armor, also 285 (could not find the diameter or anyone that has used them yet)

Suggestions???? Please feel free to help me hurt the Amex.

A friend now has about 10 k on his silent armor tires- on a Nissan Titan, but in an 18" wheel as well. Driving with him, it is quiet, but has the grip in the loose stuff, as well as Moab slickrock. He wants to go bigger when he lifts his rig, and said he will go a size up in the same tire. This is coming from a guy who ALWAYS had the BFG MT on each and every truck/jeep/suv he owned.
